SYDNEY: JB Hi-Fi has had to settle for a Silver Medal at the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) Awards last night, with Supercheap Auto winning the Gold at the ceremony held in Sydney.
The car accessories retailer beat five other nominees to the award, of which JB Hi-Fi was the only representative from the consumer electronics industry.
The awards were held last night at the Reds Room in the Rocks, Sydney, and were attended by over 120 retail industry figures. Not amongst these guests, however, were representatives of JB Hi-Fi, with an ARA spokesperson confirming yesterday that JB Hi-Fi would not be attending the event.
