MELBOURNE: Pioneer Australia home electronics group general manager, Peter Hutchinson, has stepped down after 15 years, replaced by newcomer Tim O’Leary.
According to a Pioneer spokesperson, Hutchinson left the company to “pursue other career opportunities”, but his career whereabouts are not clear at this time.
O’Leary comes to Pioneer with more of a whitegoods background, after spending time at Climate Technologies and before that, Southcorp.
In his time in the industry, O’Leary has worked with Bonaire, Vulcan, Pyrox, Rheem, Hoover, Chef and Dishlex.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tim aboard and look forward to Tim injecting a fresh approach into the business,” said Pioneer Australia managing director, Yasuo Sakuma.
O’Leary starts immediately.
