SYDNEY: Hewlett-Packard (HP) has today announced the release of four new Deskjet printers. These printers are designed for both home and office use. This release comes as the company is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the first Deskjet printer release.

The printers all include HP’s ‘dual drop volume’ ink cartridge technology which, according to HP, delivers laser-quality black text and image resolution up to 4800×1200 dpi. Additionally, the printers include ink-level indicators to tell users when a replacement cartridge is required.

Other features include photo printing with red-eye removal and the HP Smart Web Printing tool.

“In our time-poor and budget-conscious society, it is important for customers to have access to affordable technology solutions that produce high-quality results in record times. These HP Deskjets offer our customers with a practical, all-round printing solution for their personal use,” said HP South Pacific market development manager, personal printing, Tim Staniland
