HANOI: BSR Group has announced their retailers of the year at the recent annual conference in Vietnam, with all three coming from the group’s home state of Queensland.
L & M Electronics on the Gold Coast was judged BBA retailer of the year, while Thommo’s Betta Electrical in Rockhampton, central Queensland, took out the trophy for stores larger than 500 square metres.
Chandlers Electrical Kippa-Ring won the award for best store under 500 square metres.
BSR Group general manager, Ian Brown, paid tribute to the winners, saying the group’s management team recognised “the importance of meeting the needs of the customer, which in turn creates wealth for our retailers and thereby improving stakeholders return”.
Brown also said the BSR Group was continuing to expand and was always looking for new opportunities.
“We have invested in our business development area with additional resources and improved business processes.
“These improvements have focused on breaking down the ‘barriers of entry’ and includes accessing quality funding solutions and facilitating the opening of accounts with suppliers,” he said.
