SYDNEY: Logitech has recalled their R-20 2.1 speakers due to a possible fire risk. The product has been recalled nationally. Recently advertised in an Australia Post and World Famous Brands catalogue, the defect is described thus: “The speakers may be faulty and there may be a risk of fire when the speakers are in use.”
The speakers have been on sale since 22 March 2008. Consumers who have purchased the Logitech R-20 2.1 speakers from an Australia Post store are advised to return the product to any Australia Post outlet for a full refund. Further information is available by calling 131 318.
