MELBOURNE: Maytag has announced it will offer a free ‘Handy Chiller’ drinks cooler with any purchase of a front load washing machine during May.
The Maytag-branded cooler can chill a wine bottle a claimed 90-times faster than a ‘standard’ refrigerator and a claimed 40-times faster for cans than a freezer, according to Maytag marketing general manager, David Graham.
Cans are chilled to refrigerator temperature in one minute, bottles in three and a half minutes and wine bottles in six minutes.
Customers will receive the cooler upon postage of their receipt, said a Whirlpool spokesperson.
