Electrolux says ERAs and GfK awards reflect its relationship strengths

SYDNEY: Emile Redden, general manager – key accounts at Electrolux said that winning the ERA for Supplier Of The Year last Friday 4 April was an indication of the way the company’s salespeople are connecting with retailers.

Electrolux Home Products also won the Dishwasher Brand of the Year ERA for Electrolux Dishlex and the Refrigeration Brand of the Year ERA for Westinghouse.

“This is an incredibly significant award and an important indication of how well our sales team is connecting with our retailers,” said Redden.

Redden also said that the awards were also testament to the efforts of Electrolux team members in design, research and development, consumer insights, production, marketing, finance and service.

Electrolux Home Products also won the GfK Adding Value Award – Major Domestic Appliances. This award is presented to the supplier who has shown the biggest absolute increase, in retail dollar contribution, between 2006 and 2007.

“This award signifies to the whole industry that Electrolux is very much a strong and growing brand, and that the hard work our sales team is putting into growing it is paying off,” said Redden.

Westinghouse also won four GfK No. 1 Awards in Major Domestic Appliances for the cookers, hobs, rangehoods and refrigeration categories.
