Fujitsu starts up ‘Free Money’ promo again

By Chris Nicholls

SYDNEY: Fujitsu General have re-introduced their successful ‘Free Money’ pre-paid Visa promotion this year with their ‘Fujitsu Free Money Plus’ promotion, which starts April 1.

The promotion will run until August 31 and will give customers who purchase an inverter split system, inverter multi or inverter ducted air conditioner up to $400 on a Fujitsu pre-paid Visa card. In a new addition this year, 50 consumers will also drive away with a new Ford Fiesta XR4, valued at over $28,000 each.

Customers who have purchased an applicable air-conditioner can log on to the Fujitsu General home page, register online, download the completed entry form and post it back to Fujitsu with their receipt. Customers will then be sent out their pre-paid Visa card. All processed claim forms will be entered into the draw to win a Ford Fiesta XR4, with two winners in each region – NSW/ACT, SA/NT, VIC/TAS, QLD and WA – being selected every month during the promotion.

Mark ‘Tubby’ Taylor will continue his stint at the head of Fujitsu’s advertising campaigns, joined this year by Fujitsu Racing V8 Supercar driver Jason Bright. The national campaign is supported with free to air TV and pay TV advertising as well as a print and online campaign. Point of sale collateral will include strut cards, grill faces, A2 posters and A5 flyers.

“Building on the phenomenal success of our previous Fujitsu Free Money winter promotions, we wanted to offer our customers a further incentive to get behind this year’s offer,” said Fujitsu General Marketing and Sales general manager, Philip Perham.

“With a generous prize offering and exciting vibrant supporting collateral we are certain that customers and retailers will once again get on board with the promotion this winter.”
