SYDNEY: The finalists for the Electrical Retailing Awards’ coveted ‘Best Retail Group’ category were announced today, with regular entries Harvey Norman, Retravision and The Good Guys joined by three new entries this year.
Finalists for the Best Retail Group category for 2008 include previous year’s finalists The Good Guys, Harvey Norman and Retravision, and are joined this year by Narta Group members Bing Lee, Clive Anthonys and JB Hi-Fi.
The award, will which be announced on Friday 4 April at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney, is judged by a panel of over 100 Australian suppliers, covering all categories from whitegoods to audio visual, IT and small appliances.
Suppliers judge the groups on overall staff knowledge levels, buying and operational efficiencies, communication with suppliers and future preparedness.
