SYDNEY: Maytag has announced a re-vamp of their front-loading washing machines, which places a new antibacterial coating on the detergent dispenser and water pump.
The company claims the Microban treatment will help reduce mildew and bacteria build up in these areas and thus reduce bad odours.
The models now coated with the treatment are the 6.5 kilo MAF6512AAW, 7.5 kilo MAF7512AAW and 8.5 kilo MAF8512AAW.
