SYDNEY: Customers, friends and the general public will have the chance to pay their respects to Bing Lee co-founder and chairman Ken Lee at a public memorial service at Sydney Town Hall tomorrow, 5 February.

The Lee family will lead the service, which will celebrate the life of one of Australia’s business icons.

In lieu of flowers, the Lee family have requested donations be made to the Victor Chang Foundation.

Doors open at 1pm. The service will begin at 2 o’clock and run until approximately 3.30pm.

In honour of the former chairman and co-founder, all Sydney Bing Lee stores will close on Tuesday afternoon from noon onwards. Bing Lee stores outside the Sydney metro area will continue to trade as normal.
