SYDNEY: Choice has rated two VS Sassoon hair straighteners, from Conair, as ‘Very Good’ in their December test report on hair straighteners and listed the two in a ‘recommended to buy’ list.
The test covered hair straighteners from RRP $30 to RRP $299 and included brands such as GHD, Diva, Joh Bailey, Philips Tresemmé and VS Sassoon.
The VS Sassoon models tested straightened the hair for up to 12 hours — equal to the $299 salon only GHD IV Styler 4.1B and Diva models.
The Choice report stated that the good points of the VS Sassoon VSP2099A (RRP $120) and the VS Sassoon VS2715MPA (RRP $80) were: good straightening effect both immediately and over time, lasting nine to 12 hours on average; very fast heat-up time; easy to use; and moved smoothly through hair.
