SYDNEY: Hewlett-Packard (HP) Australia has stayed in house and appointed Shane Lucas as its new South Pacific Imaging and Printing Group vice president and general manager.

Lucas replaces Christoph Schell, who became vice president for IPG Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

Lucas joined HP in 2001 and has led many IPG areas such as Enterprise, Commercial and Graphics. He has twenty years of experience in the IT industry, including management roles in key channel partners.

In his new position, Lucas will handle HP’s imaging and printing business, covering products, solutions and market strategy for Australia and New Zealand. He will also cover go-to-market initiatives and host the consumer segment go-to-market strategy for all product categories on behalf of Hp South Pacific.
