A 41-year-old Bankstown man is due to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 30 January charged with receiving stolen property.

Property Crime Squad detectives charged the men following inquiries into the theft of the 22-inch monitors, worth a total of $267,000.

The theft occurred between Friday night and early Monday morning at an industrial site on Burrows Road, St. Peters.

As a result of information received by police, two premises were raided overnight by Property Crime Squad detectives, assisted by the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad and Newtown local area command. It will be alleged a large number of monitors were located and seized at premises in Lansvale and Punchbowl.

Detectives are continuing to execute a search warrant today at a storage facility on the Hume Highway, Lansvale.
