SYDNEY: Fisher & Paykel has continued its woman-focused branding push by sponsoring Australia’s largest female amateur golf tournament, the Fisher & Paykel Classic.
The tournament attracted 27,000 entrants from clubs around Australia. The finals will start at Victoria Golf Club on Tuesday, January 29.
“This is an important sponsorship for us and it helps reinforce the Fisher & Paykel brand throughout Australia from metro to regional areas.” said Fisher & Paykel national marketing manager Peter Russell.
Clubs around Australia hold local tournaments to select winners, who compete in the state finals. State winners each won an AquaSmart washing machine, with the runner up taking home a stainless steel dishwasher.
