SYDNEY: Former Samsung Australia national IT sales manager Joe Serra has returned to the fold after two years as the company’s new national IT monitor manager.
Serra’s return comes after the company retrenched director of IT sales and marketing, Norm Krieke.
The newly created position brings Serra back to Samsung after a two year period spent at Panasonic, then Viewsonic.
Serra will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans and work more with retailers and resellers by providing more transparent product roadmaps and developing integrated sales and marketing campaigns to reach end customers.
Samsung said Serra’s appointment was part of their plans to protect and increase their number one market share position in the IT monitor segment.
Serra said he was “thrilled to be returning to Samsung” after his two-year absence
“With Samsung’s heritage in LCD technology and innovative design, I am confident we can further strengthen our number one position in IT Monitors.”
