SYDNEDY: Fisher and Paykel has launched its latest Italian-made Designer Series cooker, the 600 mm Freestanding Cooker OR60SDBGX.
Designed and built in Fisher and Paykel’s cooker factory in northern Italy, the cooker follows the release of the larger 900 mm model and features an electric oven with grill, heat, bake, classic bake and fan bake functions and a four gas burner hob on top.
The cooker will sell for a recommended retail price of $2,200.
The 600 mm model will target the replacement market, as it will fit in the standard 600 mm gap in most kitchens.
The new model fits with Fisher and Paykel’s current design style and is made of stainless steel. It comes with slim line handles, full width smoked glass and what the company terms ‘contemporary’ controls.
“This model’s styling integrates seamlessly into Fisher & Paykel’s family of Designer kitchen appliances,” said Fisher and Paykel national marketing manager Peter Russell.
“The Designer Series of appliances put us firmly in the premier European style category,” he said.
