SYDNEY: De’Longhi has bolstered its marketing team with the appointment of Taryn Walters to the role of marketing assistant for the De’Longhi and Kenwood brands.

Walters’ appointment goes some way towards filling the void left by the recent departure of former De’Longhi marketing manager, Nigel Cornford, and the company’s previous marketing coordinator, Angela Tilocca.

Walters will now be the main point of contact for De’Longhi and Kenwood, with the view of assisting with all aspects of marketing from assisting with promotions, public relations and advertising to provision of point of sale material and images for catalogues and co-op advertising.

Walters has previously worked with De’Longhi major appliances in a support role.

“I enjoy working in the appliance industry and am looking forward to the challenges that this new role presents as well as opportunity to develop close relationships with industry professionals,” said Walters.
