SYDNEY: Convoy International has announced that Stephen Hoffman has rejoined the company as a senior area manager for Queensland after leaving the company a year ago to join Samsung’s sales force.
Hoffman was previously area manager for Queensland and his new responsibilities will include managing the distribution of Convoy’s branded audio products portfolio including Bowers & Wilkins, Classé, Harman Kardon, JBL home and car audio products, Monster Cable and OmniMount.
Hoffman will also be charged with building greater links with existing and new dealers through ‘hands on’ support, training, promotional and other initiatives.
According to a release by Convoy, Hoffman was most recently employed in a sales position with Samsung Australia.
Hoffman has also held roles in the CE industry in account management, sales management and marketing both wholesale and retail level. He is also currently in the final stages of a business management degree at Queensland University of Technology.
“We are really pleased to welcome Stephen Hoffman back to Convoy,” said Convoy managing director, Alex McInnes.
“Stephen’s knowledge of, and more importantly passion for Convoy’s product portfolio and the Queensland market makes him a great asset to our company. Our Queensland business has shown sustained growth and the addition of a second area manager gives us greater confidence than ever in our ability to service the diverse needs of this growing market.
“Convoy really aims to be a business partner with our dealers and not just another supplier. We are committed to working with our dealers in offering solutions to consumers via high levels of retail development and support.”
Stephen is also an accomplished musician who plays in Brisbane duo “Kave” and plays guitar, keyboards and harmonica. Kave regularly appears in SE QLD.
