Sharp to giveaway cookbooks and petrol cards on microwaves and refrigerators

SYDNEY: To help sell microwaves and refrigerators in the lead up to Christmas, Sharp is giving away a free cookbook with selected microwave ovens and petrol vouchers with selected refrigerators purchased before 31 December 2007.

All customers who purchase one of a selected range of Sharp Microwaves before 31 December will receive the Sharp Gourmet Microwave Cooking cookbook valued at RRP $39.95.

The cookbook contains 100 recipes including chicken, beef, seafood and vegetarian dishes as well as desserts. Sharp advises that the book contains simple to read instructions and step by step recipes.

The applicable Sharp model numbers are: R-330JW, R-330JS, R-350LW, R-350LS, R-380LW, R-380LS, R-395FS, R-398KS, R-397JS, R-480LW, R-480LK or R-490FS

Meanwhile, in a ‘cool’ promotion, Sharp is also offering up to $100 free petrol with purchases of selected refrigerators before 31 December 2007.

A $100 petrol card is available on purchases of the Sharp SJF65PSSL or SJF60PSSL refrigerator with stainless steel finish. Consumers who purchase the Sharp SJF65PCSL or SJF60PCSL refrigerator with silver finish can claim a $75 petrol card. While a $50 petrol card is available to customers who purchase the Sharp SJF65PCWH or SJF60PCWH refrigerator with white finish.

To receive the free cookbook or the petrol cards, customers fill out a redemption voucher, attach their sales receipt and mail to the address on the voucher before January 31, 2008. Redemption vouchers are available in store or at www.sharp.net.au.
