Retravision Southern hires new retail operations manager

MELBOURNE: The board of Retravision Southern Limited announced that it has appointed Bradley O’Brien to the position of retail operations manager for the buying group, which is also a retailer following its purchase of the McKnights-branded Retravision stores in May.

“Brad brings to the role vast retail experience having most recently been state sales manager for Clive Peeters, Victoria. Prior to this he was CEO of Clark Rubber and was also in a senior management position with the Vox and Billy Guyatts group,” advised Retravision Southern Limited’s chairman, Trevor Elsworthy, in a statement.

“Brad Smith will take on a modified role within the retail operations department reporting to Brad O’Brien. We warmly welcome Brad O’Brien to the company and wish him success in his new role.”

Retravision Southern was formed after a meeting in March 2007 regarding the future of Retravision following the collapse of Retravision NSW. Around 80 of the 85 stores in the Retravision NSW business that were then deemed viable were migrated to either Retravision Queensland or Retravision Vic/Tas, which is now Retravision Southern.

Then in May this year, Retravision Southern purchased five McKnights-branded Retravision stores in a sale estimated at millions of dollars to prevent a major competitor from buying the stores.
