SYDNEY: Sunbeam has announced the three winners of its Innovo barbecue promotion held in conjunction with Current.com.au during October, with the winner taking home an Innovo barbecue valued at RRP $999 and two runners up receiving a Beer Mate valued at RRP $569.
The competition was conducted ahead of the peak entertaining season and entrants were asked to tell Sunbeam what they thought of the Innovo barbecue in 25 words or less, with the entries judged by Sunbeam at its head office in Botany this week.
Taking out first prize and winning a new Sunbeam Innovo GB5100 barbecue (RRP $999) was Karen Williams of Scania Australia, who wrote: “This bbq is classy, compact, spacesaving and fits in with any décor. I especially love the cool touch feature, dual drip trays and gas cylinder holder”.
The second prize winner was Kylie Hussey of Walters Retravision in Queensland, who will take home a new Sunbeam Beer Mate BE7000 valued at RRP $569.
“For men it’s all about the size and for women design and functionality is everything!” wrote Hussey in her entry.
Third placegetter was Domayne franchisee Tim Williams, who said the Sunbeam Innovo barbecue was “great quality at an affordable price point – and a brand that people recognise and trust”.
