Sony launches $400,000 Aspire II retail incentive campaign

SYDNEY: Sony has launched a second Aspire retail incentive program which will allow retailers to win $400,000 worth of Sony prizes by selling Bravia LCD TVs and HiFi systems for the next three months.

Aspire II commences next Monday 15 October and will continue through to Wednesday 16 January 2008 and awards points for registered participants when they sell relevant Sony products.

“We received a phenomenal response for last year’s Aspire program, so this year we’re back and bigger than ever with Aspire II, with over $400,000 worth of prizes to be won,” said Sony Australia head of strategy and brand development, Toby Barbour.

“This provides us with the opportunity to reward sales people in this peak sales period. Based on the phenomenal success of Aspire I, we are looking to build on the success of the Sony Bravia range to date, which is bigger than ever with 26 models. It allows us to further strengthen the brand and position it as the number one TV brand in Australia.

“We look forward to seeing who will be the top sales people for the 2007/2008 Christmas period and rewarding them with some fantastic prizes.”

At the end of the time period, the top 500 sales staff with the highest points will share in $400,000 worth of Sony products from across the range.

The top 100 sales staff will win a 32-inch Bravia LCD TV (KDL32W3100) plus a choice of matching colour bezel. The next 100 staff (ranked 101-200) will win a PlayStation3, followed by a Cyber-shot DSCT70B Digital Camera 8.1 MP Touch 3-inch LCD for those ranked 201-300, a Sony NWZS615FB 2GB Video MP3 Walkman for those ranked 301-400, and Sony MDRNC32NX Neck Strap Noise Cancelling Headphones for those ranked 401-500.
