SYDNEY: Whirlpool Australia has promoted its former trade marketing manager, David Graham, to the position of general manager marketing, effective immediately.

Graham will be responsible for the managing the marketing campaigns for both Whirlpool and Maytag nationally.

“My main marketing aims for the immediate future are to continue to build the excellent work that has commenced on both the Whirlpool and Maytag brands and focus on the roll out of the Maytag Certified Retailer program which was launched at the Maytag 100th birthday celebration two weeks ago,” said Graham.

In a statement released yesterday, Whirlpool said: “David brings a wealth of experience to the role of General Manager Marketing. He joined Whirlpool Australia in 2004 as National Trade Marketing Manager. Prior to Whirlpool Australia he was with Masterfoods for seven years working in both sales and marketing.
