SYDNEY: Bi-Rite Electrical, a Narta member since 1998, has added three new stores to its buying group with Bi-Rite electrical franchisor, Abdul Sacur, stating he is on track to achieve his goal of 150 stores by the end of 2009.

“Business has been very good and we are on track to achieve our business goals,” Sacur told Current.com.au today.

The three most recent members to join the Bi-Rite group are Benalla Betta Electrical in Victoria, Noosa Betta Electrical and Warwick Betta Electrical in Queensland.

Cameron and Jacqueline Dunne, owners of the former Betta Electrical store situated in Grafton Street, Warwick in rural Queensland, announced that after lengthy deliberation they decided to join the Bi-Rite group.

“Although the business has been operating in this area for more than 10 years, we needed to add more products in our offer to the public and with ever increasing credit restrictions from suppliers this was not an easy task,” Cameron said.

“The Bi-Rite deal gave us an increased supplier base as well as the advantages of central accounting and the buying power of Bi-Rite through their affiliation with Narta.

“We are now more competitive in the market and our customers benefit on both range and price.”
