SYDNEY: Hitachi has officially launched its new ‘Full HD’ microsite to complement the launch of its full high definition TV range, and to provide consumers with detailed information on full HD technology for plasma and LCD TV’s.

Visitors to the website, found at www.hitachi.com.au/FullHD, can see the Hitachi Full HD plasma and LCD TV range and make their way through the new range as if in a show room.

“On the flash animated website, Hitachi explains in details what Full HD is all about and how it can benefit their viewing experience on TV,” Hitachi said in a statement.

“Also, the hero TV of the new range, the P50X01 50-inch Full HD plasma TV features Hitachi’s breakthrough Frame Rate Conversion (FRC) technology. FRC virtually eliminates the image judder effect and contributes to creating smooth like life images and is ideal to watch Blu ray action movies or sports.”

Hitachi has also added a page on the microsite to explain to visitors the benefits of new technologies related to Full HD displays.
