SYDNEY: Shriro Australia has appointed Dan Hill and Sid Bellani to its housewares products marketing division, expanding the marketing team driving the Gaggia and Everdure brands.

Hill joins Shriro as marketing coordinator, while Bellani is promotions coordinator.

Edgi Vega has also changed title from marketing services manager to Shriro product development and marketing manager – Everdure and Gaggia, recognising his seniority in the expanded marketing team.

“With the expansion of the division to cover barbecues, heaters and coffee machines the new roles have become necessary in covering all the finer details of operation,” Vega told Current.com.au.

“These two new members of the team are a very welcome addition to the business,” he added.

Hill has a consumer electronics background, having spent the last two years in New Zealand as product manager for Pioneer’s professional audio category.

Throughout 2004, Hill was marketing coordinator for Monaco Corporation’s audio visual brands such as Toshiba, Pioneer and Wharfedale.

Bellani started as a sales assistant in the small appliances department at David Jones Market Street (whilst completing his marketing degree from UNSW) . He joined Shriro Australia in May 2006 as a sales coordinator in the Everdure division and was promoted to team leader – Everdure, managing the brand’s customer service and sales administration team .
