GRIFFITH: Epson has announced it has become the major sponsor of the photography department of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art [QCAGU] and will now exclusively support the department’s photographic and printing needs.

Epson’s business solutions, business unit manager, Craig Heckenberg, said Epson has a strong and ongoing commitment to supporting education programs in photography and fine arts.

“We know it is vital for students to work with the best printers, inks and media to ensure they are fully competent with the equipment they are most likely to be working with when they start their careers," he said.

“The generosity of Epson has ensured Griffith graduates remain up-to-date with technology and gives them a head start when they begin working in their respective professions,” said QCAGU senior lecturer, David Lloyd.

As part of Epson’s major sponsorship for QCAGU, the brand will provide Epson Stylus Pro 9800, 7800, and 4800 printers, as well as 12 Stylus Pro 3800 printers and Epson technical advice and support.
