SYDNEY: Homedics Australia has announced its latest range of bathroom scales ranging in price from RRP $99 to $169 to be released this month in time to coincide with Father’s Day.

“As the market leader, Homedics’ success comes in part from its ability to innovate and introduce new product and categories that offer great value to the consumer and retailer alike,” HoMedics marketing manager, Mike Morgan, told Current.com.au.

“Bath scales are set to make a big splash this Father’s Day, with the product category coming out of the cupboard with stylish new designs and textures including glass, stainless steel and tile platforms,” he said.

The new scales will incorporate user-friendly operation with a multitude of high-tech options designed for the health conscious.

“With this in mind, Homedics will be launching several new models onto the market with stylish new designs to incorporate stainless steel and painted glass platforms as well as a swag of new features,” Morgan said.

The premium model will be the SC520 HealthStation Body Composition Scanner (RRP $119.95) which will feature KnowledgeBook technology, allowing users to determine body fat, body water, muscle mass and bone mass readings. It will feature a 5.1cm LCD display, four user memories, health status display, normal or athlete mode, will operate off a nine-volt battery and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Other scales in the new Homedics range include the SC475 (RRP $99.95), SC375 (RRP $89.95) and the SC380 (RRP $69.95). More information on Homedics’ full Father’s Day campaign is available in the July issue of Appliance Retailer magazine.
