SYDNEY: Sampford IXL today unveiled its new range of IXL-branded small appliances at a media launch inside their showroom in Darlinghurst. The range of 10 appliances, ranging from RRP $59 to $139, will be on sale in all major retail outlets from 1 August.

“These new range introductions are in direct response to customer demands,” said IXL Appliances general manager -marketing, Malcolm Owens.

“As innovators of the Tastic and with years of experience in the appliance industry we’ve produced unique kitchen appliance ranges that excel in the kitchen at all levels."

The product line up includes the red range with a kettle (RRP $79), toaster (RRP $69) and blender (RRP $89). The Elegance range includes a kettle (RRP $59), two-slice toaster (RRP $59) and blender (RRP $89) in a piano black and chrome finish. The Brilliance range in polished chrome and black has a two slice toaster (RRP $59), which features blue LED indicator lights, and a kettle (RRP $79) with a 360 swivel base and blue LED illumination.

The 2400 watt Duo Health Grill (RRP $139) features a reversible grill plate, ribbed on one side and flat on the other. Also, the wok and steamer (RRP $119) features a 5.5 litre capacity wok with a steamer tray that fits in the wok.

On hand at the presentation was the face the brand, Flip Shelton, triathlete, health advocate on radio and TV and best selling author of the healthy living cookbook, Green. Flip will appear on marketing brochures, swing tags and special menu ‘flip’ cards with a range of healthy recipes that come with the IXL small appliances.

“We were thrilled with the presentation today and with the product, which was very well received,” said Matthew Ahern, national sales trainer Samford IXL. “We should get a good saturation of the market with the product.”

“The price points are attractive yet they show the quality of the product and really give people the opportunity to own a very nice looking product.”
