SYDNEY: The 2007 GfK conference, entitled the ‘A to Zee of digital entertainment’, will feature a line-up of industry insiders, public insights and a who’s who of speakers designed to provide attendees a thorough understanding of the future of the 3G, full HD, mp3 and DVD markets.

Featuring speakers such as Panasonic’s Steve Rust, Sony Computer Entertainment’s Michael Ephraim, Harvey Norman’s Rutland Smith, Sony Pictures’ Michele Garra, Sony BMG Music Entertainment’s Gavin Parry, Toshiba’s Rob Wilkinson and many more, the conference is set to give retailers and suppliers insights into today’s marketplace.

The 250 representatives from the CE industry’s major suppliers, distributors and retailers will also be privy to video interviews with the general public, live panel discussions and networking possibilities during the half-day conference.

“The conference provides a key opportunity for you to learn more about current trends and likely developments in the nature and scope of the world of digital entertainment,” said GfK commercial director, Gwenno Hopkin.

“The combination of hard facts from retail and consumer research, and expert opinion from industry leaders, will provide insights that matter, and opinions that will provoke you.”

The 2007 GfK Conference will be held on 29 June 2007, between 9am and 1pm at the Dockside Conference Centre, Cockle Bay Wharf, Sydney.
