SYDNEY: Cordless phone supplier, Oricom International, has been appointed as a national supplier to Retravision.

A statement released today by Oricom managing director, Kevin McDonnell, said the new national deal will provide Oricom with wider distribution and greater brand exposure via Retravision’s extensive state and national advertising program.

“Retravision members will have access to Oricom’s extensive range of innovative communications products, all now backed by a solid set of national trading terms,” McDonnell said.

“This is a major step in our strategic channel development. Retravision is a major player in our product category whom we are proud to be associated with at all levels. All our team will continue to work with all members in assisting their profitable growth in the exciting communications category.

“It has taken a little time to get to this point, however all the efforts of our national sales team including those of our national sales manager, Tim Rollason, have now been rewarded,” he said.

Retravision CEO Keith Perkin said he has welcomed the national agreement as an opportunity to grow the relationship between the two companies.

“Oricom brings to the table a unique product range and solid national representation that will greatly benefit our combined business,” he said.
