SYDNEY: LG Electronics has released its next generation of portable digital audio players in the form of the new FM37 touch screen mp3 player and portable entertainment hub, available in both 2GB and 4GB models.

The ‘Touch Me’ FM37 (2GB RRP $249, 4GB RRP $299) multimedia player features a 2.4-inch touch screen LCD display, an Australian first for digital music devices according to LG, along with a voice recorder, FM radio receiver/recorder, video playback, photo viewer, built-in games and up to 20 hours of music playback.

“MP3 technology is no longer a luxury but rather an entertaining necessity — it is the ‘it’ accessory reinventing how consumers travel, exercise, relax and enjoy personal time," said  LG Electronics marketing manager – audio visual, Darren Goble.

"With that in mind, LG has found a way to create a line of multimedia players that provide a portable entertainment solution that is attractive to every consumer, not just the younger market.

“The LG FM37 is the latest in fashionable digital music players. The unique design coupled with a list of cutting edge features, will ensure users remain up-to-date with current trends and in sync with the latest in digital music players.

“Consumers are not only opting for digital devices that are easy to use, conveniently sized and technologically advanced, but are searching for a multimedia player that also reflects their personality, style and attitude.

“The FM37 is ideally designed to meet the fashion and technology needs of each individual, from the style conscious teenager and the elegantly poised businesswoman to the design freak or music mogul.”
