MELBOURNE: Miele Australia general manager – sales, Martin Carter, has surprised the whitegoods and small appliance industry by handing in his resignation today to Miele Australia MD, Michael Jeanes, after eight years with the company.
A statement released today by Jeanes, acknowledged "Martin Carter’s contribution to the exceptional sales that Miele Australia has enjoyed since he undertook the national sales role".
"Whilst the future reallocation of Martin Carter’s account responsibilities is still under further consideration, Miele’s ongoing business relationships will in the meantime be managed by the respective state managers, the statement said.
