MELBOURNE: Whirlpool Australia has announced the appointment of Gary Lawrence as state manager for the Southern Region sales team, responsible for the Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory teams across both the Whirlpool and Maytag brands.
“This is a great time to be joining Whirlpool as the company continues assimilating the Maytag business,” Lawrence said.
“It will be a time for real growth as the sales teams sell across all brands and their relative categories.”
Lawrence previously worked across a number of product sectors and brands including Eurolinx, Ilve, Samsung, Sanyo and Kelvinator.
Prior to joining Whirlpool, Lawrence spent 20 months with Housewares International, where he was responsible for the Breville and Kambrook brands in the Victorian region.
