SYDNEY: A Fisher & Paykel promotion which began in June and offered consumers $100 cashback as an incentive to purchase its water-efficient top-loading washers will be extended through to the end of March next year.

The ‘Clean Your Clothes Without Emptying Your Pockets’ promotion, which was initially planned to conclude this month, applies in those states that are currently receiving rebates for competing water-efficient front loading machines, in a bid to secure more buyers of the Fisher & Paykel top-loaders.

“The extension will give consumers an opportunity to claim $100 cash back on the purchase price of a GW712, IW712 and IW812 model Smart Drive washing machine. Additionally, the smaller model machines, MW512, GW512 and GW612, will qualify for a $60 cashback bonus,” Fisher & Paykel said in a statement today.

To receive the rebate, which comes in the form of a cheque, consumers must fill out a claim form, and include the serial number of the appliance as a proof of purchase, within the promotional period.

“The washers carrying the cashback bonus are some of the company’s best selling top-loaders. The offer was designed to appeal to the majority of Australians whom, for reasons of ergonomics and speed of wash, have a preference for a top-loading machine,” said Fisher & Paykel marketing manager, Peter Russell.

“The $100 or $60 cash back offer provides an added incentive for these customers to purchase a Fisher & Paykel branded machine.”

Customers must make sure that the retail purchase was made from a participating store in New South Wales, Western Australia or Queensland.

According to the company’s cashback conditions form, a list of the participating stores can be found at www.fisherpaykel.com.au

Customers must complete the claim form and submit it themselves. Retailers can not submit the form on the consumer’s behalf.
