SYDNEY: Audio visual distributor Convoy International has appointed Jonathan Sheffield as a trainer, responsible for developing effective sales and motivational training programs for retail sales staff and Convoy’s internal sales team.

Convoy’s brand portfolio includes Bowers & Wilkins, Classé, Harman Kardon, JBL home and car audio products, Monster Cable and OmniMount.

According to Convoy, the addition of Sheffield will enable the brand to expand and increase the frequency of training the distributors customers.

Sheffield is originally from the United Kingdom, had previously spent four years working with Monster Products in Europe as a senior international account manager in a sales, training and business consultancy role. Prior to this, he also worked in various sales and account management roles for 10 years in Europe and the USA.

“We are delighted that Jonathan has joined the Convoy team. The combination of his experience with Monster, as well as his sales, training and people skills ensures that Jonathan will be a valuable member to the team,” said Convoy International managing director, Alex McInnes.

On the whole products are becoming more advanced and typical home entertainment system installations become more complex it is essential that our dealers can help their clients make the whole experience more enjoyable.”
