A document issued today to suppliers by Retravision Queensland company secretary, Mark Donaldson, states that seven more stores from the former Retravision NSW Hunter and Northern groups are able to source much needed stock.

The document states that A. Cummings and Co in Grafton, Cummings Retravision in Yamba, Morriset Retravision, Kempsey Retravision, Taylors Electrical at Cessnock, Umina Retravision and its brand store Woy Woy Retravision have joined other members from the Northern and Hunter groups to source stock from Retravision Queensland.

These stores join other members of the former Retravision NSW Hunter and Northern group who are now sourcing stock from Retravision Queensland including: Toronto Retravision, Retravision Gunnedah, Kurri Retravision, The Entrance Retravision, Swansea Electrical, Singleton Retravision, Belmont Electrical, Webber’s Retravision, Emerton’s Taree and its branch store – Emerton’s Wingham, Gloucester Retravision, Foster/Tuncurry Retravision, Laurieton Retravision, Wauchope Retravision, Narrabri Retravision, Thom’s Retravision at Glen Innes and its branch store – Armidale Retravision, Inverell Retravision and Geoff O’Hara Electrical Discounts in Moree, along with the four Soundy’s Retravision stores including those owned by former Northern Group chairman Stephen Carter located at Tamworth, Barraba, Manilla and Quirindi.

At this stage, Retravision Queensland has 30 stores sourcing stock from the former Retravision NSW Hunter and Northern groups.

“Would you please open accounts for the following Retravision NSW stores which are to be billed to Retravision Qld Limited and delivered to the NSW stores as follows,” the document said.

The only members of the northern group which have left Retravision are Garth Morrison from Retravision Coffs Harbour who will join the Narta group on 1 December and Ian Parker from Port Macquarie who may join Harvey Norman.

According to Berny’s Retravision proprietor, Mark Casper, approximately 85 Retravision NSW stores are expected to migrate to Retravision Queensland and Retravision Vic-Tas.

“We believe 66 have migrated already, while others are still working through their applications. Some have not completed their accounts and there is also the issue relating to the dispute of repayments,” Casper told Appliance Retailer this afternoon.
