SYDNEY: Convoy Interational, the distributor of B&W, Classé, Harmon Kardon, JBL Home and Car products, Monster Cable and OmniMount has appointed former Domayne proprietor, Troy Green, to a newly-created position of brand manager.

In his role, Green will be responsible for growing the OmniMount brand of speaker and television mounting systems.

Green has spent the last eight years in the consumer electronics industry including national sales and marketing manager with Tinshed Trading and previously with Domayne as audio visual proprietor.

According to Convoy International managing director, Alex McInnes, Green has been appointed to generate stronger links with existing customers and generating new business.

“Troy will be a valuable member of the Convoy team,” McInnes said.

“He has just returned from the US having been indoctrinated into the OmniMount and Monster culture and we feel he will really bring the OmniMount brand to the fore,” he said.

“Our goal is to be the number one choice for buyers of mounting systems and AV furniture and with the comprehensive range available, we are confident you will see a lot from OmniMount in the future.”

“Troy will work closely with senior management, field and customer service personnel. Troy’s appointment is indicative of the emphasis Convoy places on ensuring high levels of retail development and support in this growing market.”
