SYDNEY: Sony Australia will hit the road during September and October as part of a national training roadshow which will focus on Sony’s extensive new high definition range.

The training roadshow, which is yet to visit Sydney, Adelaide and Perth, will feature dedicated sessions on the 14 new Bravia LCD models and six new Handycam models with attendees having the chance to win Sony prizes.

“We have an unprecedented number of high definition (HD) products available right now – over 100 in fact. It’s a hugely dynamic retail space at the moment and we want to give our retailers every opportunity to take advantage of the wave of HD products coming to market,” said Sony Australia technology communications manager, Paul Colley.

Sony expects to reach up to 2,000 retail staff over the five-week period with the company’s technology communications specialists visiting each state to communicate the strengths of technologies such as Full HD, SXRD and AVCHD, as well as on Sony’s HD vision.

Training sessions in Melbourne and Brisbane have already been completed, with the roadshow hitting Sydney on 25 to 27 September at Le Montage in Leichhardt, Adelaide on 3 and 4 October at Adelaide Convention Centre and Perth on 16 and 17 October at Hyatt Regency Perth.

Retailers can visit www.sonytechcentre.com.au to register for the HD training roadshow.
