SYDNEY: Sharp has announced the introduction of the new TV Cabinet, the ANPR1000H Sharp Aquos Rack System, which combines a 2.1 channel front surround sound speaker system with a traditional TV cabinet.

The TV cabinet/front surround sound system combination is designed to complement the Sharp Aquos LCD TV range and is the first Sharp audio product to feature the new Audistry by Dolby sound technology.

Audistry offers consumers the latest in personal sound technology, providing features such as the Sound Space Expander, which gives the illusion that the speakers are wider apart than they actually are, Natural Bass to enhance bass performance without distorting the sound, Intelligent Volume Control for automatic adjustment of any sound level irregularities and Mono-to-Stereo Creator which generates a stereo output from a mono input.

Boasting 300 watts RMS total output power, the ANPR1000H (RRP $1,099) offers home theatre sound quality without the complicated setup of multiple speakers, wires and components.

The Aquos Rack System also features a LCD function panel mounted on the front of the unit, providing convenient entertainment control via the multi-function remote, removing the need for multiple remotes.
