MELBOURNE: Following the sale to Singapore-based TTIL last week, Teac today announced it has completed its appointments of agencies throughout Australia.

The agents include Activ8ed Agencies, Fairclough Austin Agencies, Kerry Newman Agencies, DCG Digital Marketing, Sales 1 and Dalrymple Marketing.

According to a statement issued by Teac Australia this afternoon, the move is designed to assist in the sales development and the promotion of the Teac brand so the company can further build its reputation as a key player and quality brand within Australia’s competitive consumer electronics industry.

“The sales agencies appointed add to the ever increasing strength of TEAC Australia’s sales network,” the statement said.

“Responsible for sales, sales support and promotion of TEAC products to regional retailers, Agencies have been appointed in country Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.”

Teac Australia chief operating officer, Bernhard Kotarksi, believes these appointments will assist the company in further building the Teac brand in their respective territories.

“The agency appointments are aligned with our objective to provide our TEAC customers and retailer partners nationally with competitive, quality electronic products and best practice customer service.

“It is our intention that the sales and support services of our sales partners complement that provided to our retailer partners by our own TEAC Sales Representatives and Account Managers in the Greater Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth,” Kotarski said.
