ALABAMA: Former Maytag international president, Craig Breese, has been appointed the president of Rheem’s water heating division in North America.

When Breese left Maytag on 1 May, he sent a note to Australian retailers for supporting the Maytag brand. The Australian market was the largest subsidiary within Breese’s international division.

Based in Montgomery, Alambama, Breese succeeds Simon Parfitt who was appointed to vice president of finance.
Breese has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical industry and served as president of Maytag’s international division for five years.

Rheem’s Water Heating Division, which produces tank-type and tankless units for residential and commercial applications, maintains manufacturing operations in Montgomery as well as two facilities in Mexico — Nuevo Laredo and Mexicali. All three plants are ISO 9000-certified. The division also has one location in Canada and currently employs approximately 3,400 people in all three countries.
