BSL Vic/Tas conference achieves 90% attendance

MELBOURNE: Betta Stores Limited (BSL) has announced that more than 90 per cent of eligible members from Victoria and Tasmania attended the group’s state conference in Melbourne this week.

The conference, which was held at Melbourne’s Park Hyatt, commenced with a gala dinner at the hotel’s ballroom on Tuesday night which was attended by 140 guests.

On Wednesday, members received an update on the progress that BSL is making with its strategic plan outlined at the company’s conference in Fiji this year.

This presentation was followed by major supplier presentations which provided members with pre-Christmas buying opportunities.

The award for best small appliance supplier of the year was presented to Sunbeam and the award sales representative of the year was presented to Sunbeam’s Sandi Georgi.

The award for supplier of the year was presented to LG Electronics and the BSL Vic/Tas store of the year was awarded to Greg and Linda Souter of Horsham Betta Electrical – which was also the winner of the Betta Electrical store of the year award at the group’s 2006 conference in Fiji.
