MELBOURNE: Remington has announced the unisex promotion that will be used to target both men and women to drive shaver sales for Father’s Day.

Remington will be offering a Coleman Picnic Set valued at $39.95 with four of its male shavers for Father’s Day – the MS5500PG, MS5700PG, R9190PG, R9290PG.

“We know men love camping and the great outdoors, and we know that Coleman is the premium brand, so this exclusive picnic set is and ideal gift with purchase for our customers over the Fathers Day selling period,” said Remington marketing manager, Michelle Gallagher.

“Research indicates that more than 45 per cent of all shavers sold over the Father’s Day and Christmas promotional periods are gifts, and that over 50 per cent of these are bought by women. The combination of the selected shavers in the promotion and the picnic set, have high appeal to both men and women.”

The promotion, which commenced on 3 July and will run to 17 September, will be supported by posters and redemption forms will be provided in the selected shaver boxes.

Customers will receive the picnic set when they purchase their shaver or through mail redemption with forms available at the point of purchase. The picnic set contains: crockery, cutlery, plastic glasses, napkins, chopping board, salt and pepper set, and bottle opener: a bottle cooler bag, and cooler storage compartment.
