ALBURY: The new $14 million Harvey Norman Superstore located in Albury is on track and is expected to open prior to Christmas.

Harvey Norman general manager – electrical, David Ackery told current.com.au that construction of the new Superstore, located on the New South Wales and Victorian border is on schedule.

Work on the $14 million development is progressing at a healthy pace, with the existing Harvey Norman store on Kiewa St looking to move into its new premises in time for the Christmas selling period.

Zauner Construction managing director, Garry Zauner, recently told The Border Mail that recent fine weather in the area had contributed to the construction’s steady progress.

“It’s obviously been a blessing for any construction. We’re maintaining the schedule for a Christmas opening.”

The 28,000 square metre retail space will include several different retailers, with the Harvey Norman store including furniture, computing, white goods, brown goods, and small appliance departments.
