SYDNEY: Pebble Electronics, distributors of Conia, Konka and Hicon products, has expanded its LCD TV offering in the Australian market, with the introduction of a new range of LCD panels, due onto the Australian market through July and August.

”With the introduction of these five new LCD models, including the new and unique screen sizes of 15 and 19 inch, we are confident of further strengthening our market position in the growing LCD category,” said Pebble Electronics general manager – sales, Nicholas Fry.

“Given our strength over the years in traditional CRT TV’s, we have been able to replicate the blueprint of that success in our flat panel range.

“We are very excited about this new range of LCD’s. We’ve been working very hard with our suppliers and our trading partners to formulate and formalize this strong range and we are very confident we have found the perfect mix.

“The products look great, picture quality is excellent, they are strongly featured and pre-orders have been excellent. While we still have a strong presence in plasma TV, and are committed to continue in this category, we clearly identify LCD as the genuine growth category and the star of the future. This is a very exciting initiative for our company and we are confident this range will further shore up our strong market position in LCD TV,” Fry said.

Pebble’s new range of LCD TV’s will be available through their traditional trading partners Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Clive Peeters and selected Retravision stores.

The new range consists of five models across various screen sizes including the 15 inch HL1501 (RRP $399), 19 inch HL1901 (RRP $499), 27 inch CLCD2780 (RRP $1,299), 32 inch CLCD3280 (RRP $1,499) and the 40 inch CLCD4080 (RRP $2,499).
