SYDNEY: Samsung Electronics Australia has conducted a minor restructure of its product marketing department following the appointment of Andrew Milroy as business manager – air conditioning.

Milroy joins the company from LG where he was national sales manager for air conditioning, specialising in developing the company’s commercial business.

Mike Lilly has been relieved of his responsibility in managing air conditioning and has taken over the responsibilities for the microwave category, previously handled by product manager – whitegoods, Paul Lipscombe.

In his new role of senior product manager – kitchen appliances, Lilly will now manage refrigerators, microwaves and cookware.

In further changes, Paul Lipscombe will now work in the role of product manager – cleaning appliances, where he will be responsible for washing machines, floorcare and dishwashers.

"As Samsung continues to build its product range in the home appliances and whitegoods area, these team changes will help to support the division’s growth into new and emergeing product categories," said Samsung Electronics Australia general manager – corporate marketing, Kurt Jovais.
