SYDNEY: Creative Labs Australia has added Altech Computers as a distributor for its range of personal computer multimedia products and accessories.
Altech will distribute selected products from Creative’s range of soundcards, speakers, headphones, headsets, keyboards, mice and webcams.
“This is another exciting development in Creative’s channel strategy,” said Creative Labs Australia country manager, Bernard Koh.
“We are very pleased to be able to welcome Altech into the Creative family and are looking forward to working with them to leverage their many years of distribution expertise in Australia.”
Creative’s current distribution arrangement with Achieva will continue, but the product range will be split between Achieva and Altech.
Achieva focus more on mp3 players and PC speakers while Altech will handle most of the brand’s computer peripherals such as wireless headsets, mice and keyboards.
Creative’s distribution through Shriro Australia will be unchanged.
