LG rewards air con consumers and retailers

SYDNEY: LG Electronics will be offering both retailers and consumers incentives for selling and purchasing selected LG air-conditioner products between 1 May and 31 August 2006 as part of its new ‘Life’s Good, Heat Up Your Choices’ winter promotion.

LG will be rewarding retailers with bonus Caltex fuel vouchers up to $30 in value as an incentive for every LG air-conditioner product sold.

As an enticement for consumers, LG will be offering up to $300 cash back or bonus LG products, such as mp3 players, portable DVD players and hard disc drive (HDD) media players, for every LG air-conditioning product purchased.

“We have taken this opportunity to thank and reward LG loyalty by offering our retailers the option of filling up the car and offering our customers cash back savings or a selection of LG audio visual products from our extensive range,” said
LG Electronics Australia category marketing manager – air-conditioning, Janelle Dilger.

Consumers will receive a claim form upon purchase of selected LG air-conditioners from participating retailers which must be filled out and sent to LG along with proof of purchase.

LG will provide retailers with their claim forms at the end of the promotion which must be faxed by 14 September 2006.
